Information

Due to Covid-19, the rides took place only with the riding guide. Registration was done via WhatsApp. The owner asked about riding experience and set an appointment. My tip: join a group ride if possible. Payment was made in cash. The horses were ridden in Western style.

Stable

During freezing winter temperatures of -10°C, the horses stayed in their boxes. Otherwise, they spent their free time on the paddock or pasture. The paddock was directly connected to the fields.

Arrival

Each rider groomed, saddled, and bridled their own horse. Grooming equipment for all horses was kept in a large box. Riders could prepare their horses either inside the box stalls or outside at the grooming area.

Trail Ride

The rides led over scenic fields, through forests, and back to the stable. At times, we even passed through the village to return to the barn. On the fields, there were opportunities to trot. Cantering was possible in the forest, and during a private ride, the gallop could also get quite fast.

After the ride

Back at the stable, each rider cleaned up, washed the bridle, and put the horse away for the day.

Photos

A photo break was possible on request. The riding guide used her own phone and sent the pictures via WhatsApp or Instagram.

My Review

I enjoyed the ride. The scenery was beautiful, and the horses were allowed to spend their free time outside in open stables and on pasture. I also appreciated being able to prepare my own horse.
