Information

We had the privilege of taking a private Said Cavali 5 h Berge und Strand with the guide “Said,” who was able to accommodate all our wishes.

Guests could only pay in cash with Moroccan Dirham.

Stable

The stable is located outside of Tamraghte. Said has 3 horses, which share a large, covered bamboo stall with plenty of straw. He treats the mares like queens and pays close attention to their well-being.

Arrival

Said prepared the horses for the ride and met us at a prearranged meeting point. For the ride, we went together with Said to the stable. During mounting, he held the horse and adjusted the stirrups. Once he was in the saddle, the ride began.

Trail Ride

On narrow paths, surrounded by bamboo plots and small stables, we rode leisurely until we turned right. A rocky road led us under a car bridge and deeper into the impressive mountain landscape.

The path wound along a lightly trafficked road, past majestic palms and a mountain stream that was dry in some areas but sparkled with water in others. Eventually, we turned left and followed narrow paths into a small mountain village. There, we took a short water break before continuing.

As soon as we left the village behind, sandy mountain paths opened up before us, forming a loop. In all three gaits, we could enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and, in some sections, even the valley. Our path led past small and large trees, whose colors created a beautiful contrast against the sandy landscape.

After completing the mountain loop, we rode through a dark car bridge — the horses remained calm. We continued along soft sandy paths until suddenly the sea appeared before us: "Taghazout" lay ahead.

On the beach, we turned left and gave the horses the freedom they loved—alternating between walk, trot, and canter along the waves, enjoying stunning gallops in the sand.

At the end of the beach, our path led up a cliff. At the top, we rode straight, then turned left and finally right. The last meters along narrow paths brought us back to the stable—an unforgettable ride full of impressive landscapes and beautiful riding moments.

Back at the stable, we dismounted and handed the horses to Said. He took care of and tended to them immediately.

My Review

I really enjoyed the ride through the mountains and along the beach at sunset. Stunning gallops on the sand and a very beautiful mountainous landscape.
