Information
A transfer picked us up at the beach.
Payment was made after the ride, either in cash or by card at the bar.
Completely spontaneously, we got a private ride at Erikas Horse Farm. on the beach. We were at the beach and asked about a ride. Since nothing else was available, Erika offered to pick us up in 10 minutes for a private ride. We agreed, and 5 minutes later we were in the transfer.
Stable
The horses lived in individual stalls, each with a nameplate. The staff prepared the horses in the indoor arena. Behind the stalls there was a paddock with horses visible.
Arrival
We changed clothes in the bathroom. At the helmet room, we borrowed boots.
All the horses were tied up in the indoor arena, already saddled and partly bridled for us spontaneous riders. Erika assigned the horses, set the riding order, and off we went.

Trail Ride
To reach the beach, we had to ride along an asphalt road the entire way, where cars were also driving to the beach.
Once we reached the beach, the first trot came quickly, followed soon by the first canter. Erika always told us in advance when we were changing pace.
We rode along the beach from Marmari to Tigaki. In Tigaki, we turned from the beach into the dunes towards Marmari. There, we also enjoyed another canter. Halfway through, we rode back down to the beach towards Marmari. There we trotted and cantered again. When we arrived back at Marmari beach, we returned at a walk along the asphalt road back to the farm.
There was no designated section for riders on the beach, so we had to ride past tourists. Still, it was a lot of fun.
After the ride
Back at the stable, we dismounted, and the staff tied the horses at the hitching posts for the next ride.
When we went to the bar, the team played “Happy Birthday” over the speakers. Erika even gave us an ice cream sundae on the house.
A staff member drove us back to the beach afterwards.

We had a photo break at the beach. On request, we also received a canter video on the beach.
My Review
I really enjoyed the ride and had a lot of fun. It was a beautiful birthday.
The flexibility and the offer to pick us up for a private ride at such short notice was fantastic. Riding on the beach and in the dunes was wonderful.
From the beach, we could see the islands of Kalymnos, Pserimos, and the Turkish mainland.
