Each horse had its own stall, open on all four sides, with a roof for shelter. The horses were kept on straw and had continuous access to food. Staff made sure the work among the horses was evenly distributed.

Trail Ride
Near the parking area, we had the first short canter. Over the parking area, we entered the nature reserve. The ride passed by the bay “Cala Agulla,” where riders could see the sea from horseback. Riding directly on the beach was not allowed between April and October due to crowds. We walked for a while on rocky paths in the reserve until reaching the sandy forest trails. On these beautiful straight sandy stretches, we cantered. The ride continued through dunes and up a hill to the rocky cliff of “Cala Mesquida” bay.
From there, we returned over rocky paths to “Cala Agulla.” One stretch was sandy, allowing a final canter in the reserve. After the last canter, we walked across the parking area and through the forest back to the stable. In total, we cantered four times.
After the ride
Back at the stable, staff unsaddled and unbridled the horses. Riders had the opportunity to say goodbye to their horse. A free drink was provided for refreshment.
Photos
At “Cala Mesquida" we had a photo break. Helmets were mandatory throughout the ride, but riders could remove them for photos. The guide dismounted and used each guest’s phone to take numerous photos from various angles.
My Review
I really enjoyed the rides. The nature reserve in Cala Rajada is a beautiful area. The guide explained everything very well, allowing the rider to adjust to their horse. The photo break at “Cala Mesquida” was fantastic.
