Cortijo Que Cosita Reiterferien mit Moni 3 h ride
The beach ride did not take place daily. Guests paid for the ride in cash, and these were group rides with other guests.
Stable
The horses lived in different herd sizes with fly bonnets and fly sheets in open stables. After our return from the ride, the owner distributed lunch.
Arrival
Upon arrival, the owners welcomed us. We briefly discussed our riding experience and were assigned horses. Each of us took the halter of our assigned horse and brought it from the open stable. We tied the horses at the mounting area and removed their sheets to groom them. The owners saddled the horses, and each of us received a saddlebag to store provided carrots for the ride. We bridled the horses ourselves after putting on our riding gear. On the riding arena, the owner checked the girths, adjusted the stirrups, and attached the martingales. We walked the horses on the arena until the owner was mounted, and then the ride began.

Trail Ride
There was no set order; the horses determined the order themselves. We started relaxed at a walk and followed the path into the forest. Along the pine forest and across the fields, we had to cross several busy roads. Before reaching the beach, we trotted three times and cantered twice. The stretches were always long. It took over an hour to reach the beach. Once there, we could canter twice directly by the water. We carefully passed beachgoers, then rode back into the dunes and pine forests. On the return ride, we trotted four times and cantered two more times. Finally, we returned to the stable at a relaxed walk.

After the ride
Each rider took care of their own horse. We removed the bridles, put on halters, unsaddled, washed the horses, fed remaining carrots, covered the horses with fly sheets, placed fly bonnets, and returned them to the open stable. The horses’ day ended. Riders were offered free drinks and sat together a little before saying goodbye.
Photos
The owners shared the beach section so that parents or friends could go there to take pictures. Guests could also take photos of each other.
My Review
I really enjoyed the ride. The horses were very well cared for, and everything ran smoothly. Sitting together afterward was also nice. The ride was a lot of fun.
