Baikan Ranch 90-minute Old Town & Desert ride.

From the stable, we turned left and followed the path until we reached a busy road. There, we turned right, crossed the road, turned left, and rode through a narrow pedestrian alley to the „River View Point for Ait Ben Haddou“From there, we enjoyed a breathtaking view of the historic mountain village.

After taking in this impressive scenery, we crossed a narrow river and turned left. The path led us straight ahead before we turned right and rode uphill into the old village. Riding through the narrow, winding alleys of the Old Town was a truly unique experience! At a leisurely pace, we could admire the beautiful handicrafts displayed on the houses.

On the far side of the village, we left the Old Town and entered the fascinating white-and-red desert landscape. The trail led us in a loop through the rugged terrain, mostly at a walk. However, whenever the path allowed, we enjoyed stretches of trot and canter. Throughout the entire ride, we had spectacular views over the vast desert and, in the distance, the picturesque mountain village.

Eventually, we reached the river again, which we crossed at a wide, shallow spot. One last chance for trot and canter presented itself before we followed the familiar trail back to the stable at a relaxed walk.
