Information
The owner of Albtalranch did not live directly at the stable. The stable door was locked whenever no one was on-site. The rider paid for the trail ride in cash.
Stable
The stable was spacious. The horses had very large individual stalls. Next to the stable was the riding arena. A pasture was not located directly at the stable. According to the owner, there was a pasture a bit further away.
Arrival
After a short conversation, the owner assigned the horses. We groomed the horses inside their stalls. During this time, the horses were allowed to eat hay.
Mounting took place in front of the stable, using a chair as a mounting block. Once the stirrups were adjusted, the ride began.
Trail Ride
There were several riding trails, all leading through the forest in the mountains. In the forests, there were no specially designated bridle paths. Whenever the path went uphill, we could canter. Cantering was possible as long as there were not many people around. The mountains offered beautiful views.
After the ride
Back at the stable, everyone cleaned up after themselves and, if necessary, brushed their horse again.
Photos
A photo break was possible upon request.
My Review
I really enjoyed the trail rides. The surroundings were beautiful. I also appreciated being able to prepare my own horse.
