Information
We had the privilege of taking a private Tunis Stable 3 h Wueste ride with the owner Mohammed, who could accommodate all our wishes.
Guests could only pay in cash, with Euros, USD, or Egyptian Pounds.
Stable
The stable is located remotely in the "Libyan Desert". It has individual stalls with soft sand flooring for the horses. The staff takes excellent care of the animals.
Arrival
Upon arrival, Mohammed showed us the stable and the horses. The staff prepared the horses and led them out in front of the stable. During mounting, a staff member held the horse and adjusted the stirrups. Once everyone was seated, the ride began.

Trail Ride
Vom Stall aus folgten wir den Feldwegen, bis wir nach rechts abbogen. Im entspannten Schritt ritten wir weiter, während sich die weite Wüste vor uns ausbreitete. Schon bald erreichten wir die erste Galoppstrecke, die wir voller Freude auskosteten.
Unser Weg führte uns geradeaus bis wir vor dem „Lower Wadi El Rayyan Lake“ nach links abbiegen mussten. Immer wieder bot sich die Gelegenheit für einen Galopp, den wir gerne nutzten.
Nach einiger Zeit führte uns der Weg nach links über eine Straße, bis wir ein kleines Café erreichten. Dort stiegen wir ab und überließen den Mitarbeitern unsere Pferde, die sie während unserer Pause gemütlich im Schritt führten. Wir genossen die kurze Auszeit mit erfrischenden Getränken, bevor es weiterging.
Ausgeruht ritten wir eine Weile im Schritt nach rechts, bevor wir nach links abbogen und die nächsten Galoppstrecken erreichten. Auf diesem Abschnitt wechselten sich Schritt und Galopp ab, während wir durch die beeindruckende Wüstenlandschaft ritten.
Nach einer letzten Straßenüberquerung kehrten wir schließlich im entspannten Schritt durch die Wüste und über den vertrauten Feldweg zurück zum Stall.

After the ride
Back at the stable, the staff held the horses so riders could dismount. They led the horses directly to their stalls, unsaddled and unbridled them, and took care of them.
A transfer brought us back to Tunis.

For the ride, staff accompanied us in a Jeep, taking many beautiful photos and videos.

My Review
Der Ausritt in der Wüste hatte mir gut gefallen. Wir hatten tolle Möglichkeiten zum Galoppieren und konnten einen tollen Sonnenuntergang und den Vollmond aufgehen sehen.
