Information
Centro Hipico El Jibbah offered the option of private rides or group rides with other guests. Payment was made in cash. This stable has purebred Arabians.
Stable
The horses lived in open stables. During the day, the owners let part of the herd graze freely on the property. In the evening, the free-roaming horses were brought back to the stables and fed their evening meal.
Arrival
On the way to the stable, we passed free-roaming horses. One horse came up to the car and looked into the open trunk. The owner bridled the horses only after the guest had put on their riding gear. She adjusted the girth, held the horse, and set the stirrups. The guide mounted, and the ride started from the yard.

Trail Ride
We followed a narrow path across a meadow, leading into the town of Zahara. We rode through the town and alongside a sidewalk by a busy road. Passing through a roundabout and a parking lot, we continued onto a path through the dunes, which led to the sandy beach. At the beach, we turned right so the sea was on our left. We rode directly along the water, sometimes even through it. There was no dedicated beach section for riders, so we kept a wide distance from beachgoers. Once we reached a quieter section, we could trot and gallop. At one point, we did a 180-degree turn and rode back along the beach. During one ride, we were able to gallop five times, totaling 9 minutes. On another ride, we could gallop only three times, totaling 3 minutes. The return route either followed the same way back to the stable or, before the beach section, we turned left and rode along the river and the town of Zahara. The river was on our left, the town on our right. We returned via a meadow path to the stable. While riding, I wore the Royal Horsemen riding leggings – they were extremely comfortable and pleasant to wear.

After the ride
Back at the yard, either the owner took the horse to saddle, bridle, and bathe it, or the guest could tie the horse and handle unsaddling and unbridling themselves. Staff removed the tack and tidied up. Free still water was provided for anyone wanting a drink.
Photos
Photos and videos were available on request. Very nice gallop videos were captured on the beach.
My Review
I really enjoyed the ride. We rode most of the time along the beach. The gallops were a lot of fun, and the Arabians were very manageable. Since one ride was private and the other included another rider, I got beautiful gallop videos and photos on the beach. For me, it was a dream come true to gallop a purebred Arabian along the beach.
