Information
The stable no longer offers trail rides for guests.
(as of July 2022)
Guest rides were not offered regularly. There was a WhatsApp group for guests. The owner would post when she had time for a ride, and anyone could respond. Guests paid for the ride in cash. The horses were ridden in a Western style.
Stable
The ponies were kept side by side in large individual paddock stalls and had plenty of hay to eat.
Arrival
After the first conversation with the owner, she assigned a pony. First, the guest and the owner groomed a pony together. On this day, the owner also filed the pony’s hooves. Once the first pony was ready, it was brought out and groomed. Next, we saddled and bridled the ponies. Everything was done without any time pressure.
Trail Ride
The ride went over the hilly fields. On this ride, we mostly walked. We cantered once and trotted two or three times. The ride was nice and very relaxed. There was a snack break for the ponies during which the riders stayed on.
After the ride
Back at the stable, everyone cleaned up after themselves and brushed the pony again if needed.
Photos
A photo break was possible upon request. The owner took pictures with her own phone and sent them via WhatsApp.
My Review
I enjoyed the relaxed ride. Everything was very calm and stress-free. I got a small insight into Western riding.
