Information
The 90-minutes archery lesson on Kos is offered by Günther Höllthaler at Erikas Horse Farm. The sessions are always private and usually limited to three guests, allowing him to give very individual attention. The lesson are suitable for all ages and skill levels – whether you’re a beginner, advanced, or a child learning how to handle a bow and arrow in a playful way.

Arrival
When I arrived at Erikas Horse Farm I had a warm welcome. After finding the right bow and a short theoretical introduction, we headed to the archery range. As motivation, Günther hung up a balloon as a target – right away, I could tell he runs the lessons with a lot of joy and creativity.
The Lesson
The 90 minutes were very intense but still relaxed. Günther explained step by step the correct posture, how to safely nock the arrow and how to draw the bow correctly. His tips on breathing and concentration were especially valuable – they make all the difference in actually hitting the target. I received feedback throughout and quickly noticed my first success.
The highlight, of course, was shooting at the balloon: an exciting moment that shows - how much you can learn in a short time.
Thanks to Günther’s calm and patient approach, I never felt pressured and could go at my own pace.

Once everything was tidied up, we sat together at the bar and enjoyed a relaxed evening.

The archery lesson on Kos was an amazing experience for me. It was exciting, educational and a lot of fun. Günther put a lot of effort into giving each guest individual attention and creating an unforgettable experience. If you want to experience something unique on Kos, away from the usual excursions, this lesson is an absolute must!
