Arrival

My excursion started in Kos City, where we were warmly welcomed by the crew. From the moment we stepped on board, a relaxed holiday atmosphere filled the air: music in the background, cheerful voices of fellow travelers, and the salty scent of the sea. Everyone could choose their own sunbed before setting off on the adventure.

Boat Tour

The tour began with a two-hour boat ride, during which we even had the chance to spot dolphins – for me, an absolute highlight! While we eagerly scanned the water, the coastline of Kos slowly faded into the distance, and the anticipation for the island stops grew.

Our first stop was Vathis on the island of Kalymnos. This little harbor town was a true gem: colorful boats, charming houses, and small cafés lined the promenade. We had about 1.5 hours to wander through the alleys, browse souvenir shops, or visit the small church in the village. I especially loved the authentic atmosphere, which felt different from the more touristy spots on Kos.

After a 40-minute boat ride, we reached the uninhabited island of Plati. Here we stayed for about 40 minutes. The water was so crystal clear that you could see fish from the boat. Many took the chance to swim or snorkel. Afterwards, a freshly prepared lunch was served on board, which was included in the price.

Just 20 minutes later, we arrived at the third and final island, Pserimos. There was plenty of time for a stroll along the beach, a visit to the small shops, or a walk up to the church on the hill, where a stunning view awaited. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing – perfect for letting the impressions of the day sink in.

After about an hour on Pserimos, it was time to return to the boat. The journey back to Kos City took around one hour.

Throughout the entire trip, guests were free to take photos and videos. If you wanted to be in a picture yourself, you simply had to ask fellow travelers or crew members – the atmosphere on board was very friendly and helpful.

My Review

The 3 Island Boat Tour with "Captain Hook" from Kos City is a fantastic way to experience several highlights in just one day. What impressed me the most was the dolphin sighting, which made the day truly unforgettable.

Whether strolling through the harbor in Kalymnos, swimming in the turquoise waters of Plati, or enjoying a peaceful walk on Pserimos – this tour really has something for everyone. If you want to discover the “must-see corners” of the islands around Kos in a short time, this boat trip is absolutely worth considering.
